Payments
- Payment for the first session is preferred (where possible) 48 hours in advance.
- Once tuition becomes regular (after initial month), payments are made monthly in advance, or for longer periods if preferred.
- A payment instruction or reminder will be sent at the start of each month/end of previous month.
- Invoices are payable within 5 days of issue.
- Free trial lessons are not offered, and no introductory or block-booking discounts are provided.
Cancellations
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
- If notice is not given, or a student fails to attend or forgets the session, the full lesson fee will still be charged.
- In the event of a no-show, the tutor will remain available for 20 minutes before ending the session. This session will be paid in full.
Ongoing Commitment & Calendar Booking
- Once a weekly slot has been agreed, it is expected that lessons will continue regularly at that time.
- More than one cancellation per six weeks (or per half term) is considered excessive; additional cancellations may be charged at the full rate to retain the regular slot.
- Where advance notice is given, I will always do my best to offer a rescheduled lesson for unavoidable absences.
- There is no notice period (outside the 48 hour notice period) if you wish to discontinue tuition — just let me know.
School Holidays
- During school holidays, regular sessions remain in the calendar by default, but there is no obligation to continue unless you wish to.
- We can plan together for holiday schedules on a flexible basis.
Privacy & Data Protection
- I take privacy and data security seriously. Any personal information you provide (such as names, contact details, and academic information) is used solely for the purpose of arranging and delivering tuition.
- Personal data is never shared with third parties without consent and is stored securely in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
- Personal data (such as contact details) can be securely deleted upon request.
- Educational notes are not automatically deleted, as they may form part of ongoing teaching records or learning resources.

- While specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed, every effort is made to ensure that students receive structured, effective, and personalised tuition.
