Before him, I dreaded going to physics and my grades were barely a pass. After a mere 3 months, he managed to not only improve my confidence and make physics one of my favorite classes, he helped me improve drastically my level to up to 4 grades. My daughter used to do fairly well in Physics, but found it increasingly difficult with the step-up to GCSE. To keep up with the curriculum, she had started memorizing material rather than truly understanding it, gradually losing interest in the subject. Sam has a wonderfully engaging teaching style, presenting content in a way that's easy to understand and retain. He often goes beyond the standard curriculum to make sure she genuinely understands the concepts, and provides plenty of resources that let her explore topics further at her own pace. My son was in a class of high achieving A level pupils and despite getting an 8 in GCSE physics, he began to doubt his own ability and understanding. This led me to reach out to Sam to consolidate my son's Yerar 12 knowledge and to rebuild his confidence and self-belief during Year 13. Sam was perfect for the role. He has the ability to explain concepts in a calm and effective manner and was always quick to respond when my son needed advice or support between sessions, for example by providing pointers about long answer questions.
